Regional weather: Monday, December 18 - TX/OK/AR: Cold front will push through the region during the day today. Windy conditions all areas with wind advisories in many locations. Other than some clouds and a chance of rain (or flurries) in parts of the north and east, frontal passage should be dry. Sunny to fair skies. Trajectory weather: Mostly sunny and windy today. High in the 60's early, falling temps later. Mostly clear tonight. Lows near 30 inland west to low 50's off the Mexico coast. Sunny on Tuesday, highs in the 60's and 70's.

Trajectory confidence: High.

OUTLOOK: *** Moderate Threat *** We are early in the release season, though a few cones may be ready for release. Conditions are mostly favorable for pollen release today. Temperatures and humidities are in the favorable ranges at midday and winds are strong. Mitigating factor is the stage of the release season - how much pollen is available? With the meteorological factors so positive, any pollen available should get airborne and travel rapidly southward. Moderate Risk for residents of south-central TX, the coastal bend, Rio Grande plains, and deep south TX... including the metropolitan areas of San Antonio and Austin, TX. TK
