Mountain Cedar Pollen Forecast

Regional weather: Monday, December 10 - TX/OK/AR: High pressure in control of the weather today. Regional low temperatures on Sunday night are low throughout the area with central Texas in the 20 s and low 30 s.  Monday high temperatures will be in the mid 60 s with light winds from the south ranging from calm at southern localities to 10 to 15 miles per hour throughout the rest of the region.  Low temperatures Monday evening will be warmer, in the lower 40 s with winds increasing out of the southeast to 10 to 15 miles per hour.

Trajectory weather: Mostly clear today and tonight. High in the mid-60's over the central Texas region.  Low s tonight will be warmer than Sunday night reaching the lower 40 s.  Cloudy conditions will build late Monday night, early Tuesday morning with a chance of precipitation.

OUTLOOK: *** Low Threat *** favorable conditions for pollen release today. In most areas with Juniperus ashei trees temperatures should reach the tolerance range and humidities will remain low. However, informants on the plateau suggest that the cones have yet to ripen, therefore pollen release has not yet begun. Residents throughout southern plains should have another day without any ill effects.
