Regional weather: Tuesday, December 11 TX/OK/AR: High pressure is moving east today with precipitation developing across the Edwards Plateau this evening into tomorrow. Regional high temperatures on Tuesday will be in the 60 s with clouds and precipitation building from the west to the east in the late afternoon to evening.  Winds will be consistently from the south to south-southeast from 10 to 15 miles per hour.  Thunderstorms may occur during the evening hours into Wednesday.  Tuesday night low temperatures will be in the mid-50 s with a broken cloud deck and sunnier condition on Wednesday. High temperatures on Wednesday return to the mid to upper 60 s.  To the north in Oklahoma and Arkansas, similar temperature ranges prevail but winds become stronger.  Oklahoma City may see steady winds of 20 to 25 miles per hour on Tuesday, but these conditions subside going into Wednesday.  Regional low temperatures will be in the upper 40 s and low 50 s Tuesday evening/Wednesday morning with high temperatures only in the mid 50 s.  Precipitation is likely throughout the area.  Wednesday winds are steady from the south to southeast and 10 to 15 miles per hour. 

Trajectory weather: Mostly clear today with increasing clouds tonight. High in the mid-60's over the central Texas region.  Low s tonight in the 50 s with a return to the upper 60 s to low 70 s on Wednesday.  Precipitation will spread from west to east as Tuesday progresses, with upwards of 0.25 inches predicted to fall along the eastern edge of the Edwards Plateau.  Thunderstorms and showers are predicted for Wednesday with some sun breaks

Trajectory confidence: High.

OUTLOOK: *** Low Threat *** unfavorable conditions for pollen release today. In most areas of the Plateau temperatures should reach the tolerance range but precipitation and humidity will remain high. However, informants on the plateau suggest that the cones have yet to ripen, therefore pollen release has not yet begun. Residents throughout south-central TX or the hill country should have another day without any ill effects.
