Regional Weather: Monday and Tuesday, Dec 15 and 16. TX/OK: An upper troughs and strong cold front will move across the southern plains and Texas tonight into Tuesday. Strong winds today with lake wind cautions. Temperatures will be well above average in the low to mid 70s in the south and 60s in the north. Scattered clouds during the day today, becoming partly cloudy throughout the region tonight. Southwest winds during the day 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 40 mph, shifting to northwest 20 to 25 mph after midnight. Slight chance of rain in the north. Tomorrow partly cloudy with cooler temperatures and northwest winds. Highs tomorrow upper 50s in the south, 40s in the north. Winds should drop off Tuesday night/Wednesday morning with freezing temperatures expected in most areas.

Weather conditions are good for pollen release; however, it is early in the season and most pollen cones on the
cedar trees are still not releasing pollen. Because of the high winds, pollen release from any
mature cones will be easily dispersed.
