Regional Weather: Sunday, Dec 19 update. TX/OK:
Temperatures on Sunday will be in the 30s and 40s in Oklahoma with night time lows Sunday night at or below freezing.
Temperatures in Texas will be seasonal in the upper 50s to mid 60s today. Night time lows will be in the 30s. The
cold front moves out quickly as winds shift late Sunday afternoon to Sunday evening. With the return of south to
southeast winds, temperatures will warm to above normal temperatures on Monday.
Trajectory weather: The air mass trajectories move from the Arbuckle Mountains to the west briefly and then move north and northeast. Sunny skies to partly cloudy skies will prevail across the region. Temperatures are slowly rising to the favorable range for pollen release this afternoon.
OUTLOOK: *** Moderate Threat *** mixed conditions for pollen release. Sunny dry conditions
will occur today, but temperatures just into the favorable range will reduce the chance
of abundant pollen release.
