Regional Weather: Sunday, Dec 19 update. TX/OK:
Temperatures on Sunday will be in the 30s and 40s in Oklahoma with night time lows Sunday night at or below freezing.
Temperatures in Texas will be seasonal in the upper 50s to mid 60s today. Night time lows will be in the 30s. The
cold front moves out quickly as winds shift late Sunday afternoon to Sunday evening. With the return of south to
southeast winds, temperatures will warm to above normal temperatures on Monday.
Trajectory weather: The air mass trajectories move to
the west briefly and then move north and northeast. The trajectories from the western side of the Plateau curve
back south on Tuesday as the next cold front approaches the area. Sunny to partly cloudy skies will prevail across
the region.Conditions across the Plateau are seasonal. Trajectories from the east side of the Plateau show good
conditions for transport, while those front the western side do not.
OUTLOOK: *** Moderate to HighThreat today ***
Good conditions for pollen release. Sunny skies with light winds will allow for pollen release this
afternoon.
