Regional Weather: Fri and Sat, Dec 15 and 16. TX/OK:
Clear to partly cloudy conditions continue across the region with moderate southerly winds. Humidity remains low
across the region. Conditions will remain dry today and tomorrow, and temperatures will remain well above normal
with daytime highs in the 70s. Night time lows will be in the mid 40s to low 60s. There is a chance of some rain
Sunday night and Monday with much cooler temperatures next week as a strong frontal system approaches.
Trajectory weather: The air mass trajectories today and
Saturday move from the Edwards Plateau to the north, northeast. The trajectories show reasonably good characteristics
for entrainment and travel. Conditions at the source are good for pollen release today and tomorrow although it
is still early in the season.
OUTLOOK: *** Moderate to High Threat *** Conditions are good for pollen release
today and Saturday; however, we are at the beginning of the pollen season. Concentrations near mountain cedar populations
are likely to be high but only moderate down wind.
