Across
the region today the weather will be seasonal with mostly sunny to
partly cloudy skies. Temperatures today are mild with highs
ranging from the upper 40s to the 70s. Temperatures across
the Edwards Plateau will be in the upper 60s to low 70s. Temperatures
in the remaining areas will reach into the low 60s in Texas and upper
40s and 50s in Oklahoma. Wind direction today will be
variable across the region with moderate to strong gusts in Oklahoma
and low to moderate winds across Texas. Tonight, mostly clear skies
will remain across the region. Lows will be in the 30s in
Oklahoma and the 40s in Texas. Tomorrow temperatures will be about 10
degrees cooler across the region with clear skies and winds shifting.
Trajectory
weather: Air mass trajectories from the Arbuckle Mountains
move to the east into Arkansas and Mississippi over the next 48 hours.
At the source area today, temperatures will be mild in the 50s with
moderate gusty winds. Overnight temperatures will be in the 30s.
Tomorrow temperatures will be
warming into the 40’s. Winds will start from the northwest and later
tomorrow night shift back around southwesterly winds.

Threat Tomorrow *** Fair to good condition for pollen
release today and
tomorrow. However
it is early in the pollen season and most pollen cones on trees in the
Arbuckles Mountain region are still closed. Tomorrow, conditions will
be about 10 degrees colder.
