Across
the region today the weather will be seasonal with mostly sunny to
partly cloudy skies. Temperatures today are mild with highs ranging
from the upper 40s to the 70s. Temperatures across the Edwards Plateau
will be in the upper 60s to low 70s. Temperatures in the remaining
areas will reach into the low 60s in Texas and upper 40s and 50s in
Oklahoma. Wind direction today will be variable across the region with
moderate to strong gusts in Oklahoma and low to moderate winds across
Texas. Tonight, mostly clear skies will remain across the region. Lows
will be in the 30s in Oklahoma and the 40s in Texas. Tomorrow
temperatures will be about 10 degrees cooler across the region with
clear skies and winds shifting.
Trajectory weather:
Air mass trajectories over Texas move southeast and then curve back
around to the west and then north over the next 48 hours. Temperatures
will be warm today across the Plateau with highs in the upper 60s and
low 70s with moderate winds and sunny skies. Tonight skies will remain
clear with lows in the 40s.
OUTLOOK: *** Moderate Threat Today and Tomorrow *** Excellent conditions for pollen release today in the Texas populations. However,
it is early in the pollen season and most pollen cones on trees in the
region are still closed. Tomorrow, conditions will remain good but
temperatures will be about 10 degrees colder.
