Mountain Cedar Pollen Forecast

Date Issued: 26 December 1998

Mountain Cedar location(s): Arbuckle Mountains, OK

Regional weather: Saturday and Sunday, December 26/27 - TX/OK: Partly cloudy and dry with moderating temperatures today and Sunday. Highs in the 50's and 60's, lows in the 30's and 40's.

Trajectory weather: Partly cloudy today, high in the upper 50's. Variably cloudy tonight, low in the low 30's. Partly cloudy Sunday, high in the 40's.

Trajectory confidence: High

OUTLOOK: *** Low Threat.....Moderate on Sunday *** Conditions still mostly unfavorable for pollen release today but will be more favorable on Sunday. Humidities have declined but temps remain too low for much release. Low Risk of transport on Saturday. However, moderating temperatures with highs in the upper 50's on Sunday will increase the pollen release potential. Airborne pollen on Sunday will move slowly north, then turn southward Sunday night (much like the Texas trajectories). Those most likely to be affected are people living in Oklahoma City....southward to the Texas border. TK

Trajectory Start(s) (shown by green dot on map): Sulfur, Oklahoma
