Regional weather: Monday, December 20 - TX/OK: Polar cold front has moved through most of the region. Developing low pressure area in northwestern Gulf of Mexico. Dramatically colder over the entire region today and tonight. Majority of locales won't get out of the 40's today; those that do will have their daily highs early in the day with temperatures dropping during the afternoon. Cloudy southern and eastern TX with rain south-central and southeast sections today. Clouds moving into the Panhandles with a chance of snow also. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Becoming partly cloudy region-wide tonight and Tuesday. Highs today ranging from the 20's north and west to 50's southern TX. Very cold tonight with lows in the 10's and 20's. Highs Tuesday in the 30's and 40's. Slow warm-up through the week.

Trajectory weather: Mostly cloudy today; chance of rain or rain/sleet mix eastern sections. Clearing western sections this afternoon. High in the low 40's. Partly to mostly cloudy and cold tonight, chance of rain deep South TX. Lows ranging from the 20's Big Bend area...... 30's northern Mexico..... to low 40's deep South TX. Partly cloudy on Tuesday. Highs from the low 40's Big Bend to near 50 northern Mexico to mid-50's off the northeast Mexican coast.

OUTLOOK: *** Low Threat *** Little to no release expected. Unfavorable conditions for pollen release. Temperatures are too low and humidities are too high for all but a small portion of the western Plateau. Many cones are too immature for release as well. TK
