Black et al. 2000. Authors compared skin test data from patients admitted to hospital ICU with asthma exacerbation and control groups of asthmatics. Data showed that patients admitted to the ICU for asthma are more likely to have positive skin prick tests to the dry air spores, Alternaria and Cladosporium.
