Wark et al. 2002. In this case-control study, investigators studied airway inflammation
in thunderstorm asthma. Case subjects were strongly skin test positive to rye
grass pollen. Authors concluded that the result were consistent with
thunderstorm-induced grass pollen deluge as the cause of the exacerbation;
however, no air sampling data were presented.
