Regional weather: Thursday, January 13 - TX/OK: The tail end of a cold front is moving through southern TX and dissipating. Few clouds and no rain are associated with it. High pressure will govern the weather for the next few days. The High is centered to the north and west of the region today but will move quickly eastward. Winds from the north today will shift to the south on Friday. Due to the circulation around the High, moisture flow into southern TX will increase tonight and Friday. Late night to early morning clouds and fog, some already present, will increase in duration and geographical coverage. Comparatively cooler today with temperatures warming again this weekend. Highs today and Friday in the 50's to 70's. Lows tonight ranging from the 20's to 50's.

Trajectory weather: Sunny today, high in the 60's. Clear tonight, low around 30. Sunny Friday, high in the upper 60's.

OUTLOOK: *** Serious Threat *** Conditions are favorable for pollen release. Strong release expected. Temperatures and humidities are favorable much of the day with moderate, gusty winds. Central and western sections of north TX will be affected today.....south plains / rolling plains region tonight..... and the Panhandles and southern KS on Friday. TK
