Regional weather: Tuesday, January 18 - TX/OK: Dry cold front across the northern sections. Clouds and some moisture in OK and parts of southern and eastern TX, but little to no precipitation expected. Mostly late night and early morning clouds and fog for parts of TX, becoming partly cloudy to sunny by afternoon and very warm. Highs today and Wednesday ranging from the 50's north to 80's south. Lows tonight from the 30's to 50's.

Trajectory weather: A few leftover low clouds becoming partly cloudy to sunny today, high near 80. Variably cloudy with fog or low clouds developing later, low ranging from the 30's to 50's. Morning low clouds on Wednesday, becoming partly cloudy and warm later, high in the 70's.

OUTLOOK: *** Moderate Threat *** Pollen Update 10 Jan: Bill Durbon and his observers in Junction report that "pollen is starting to pop all over the place". 12 Jan: Additional reports from other areas of Texas indicate increased pollen release for many areas *** Conditions are mixed for pollen release. Temperatures are favorable much of the day. Humidities have remained high through the morning but should fall during the afternoon as more sunshine occurs. Favorable range should be reached in the western half of the Plateau but may not be reached in eastern sections. Some release expected, mostly from western areas. Residents of central and northern TX will have pollen moving through their region this afternoon and tonight. Residents of northern LA and southern AR may feel a few ill effects from today's release on Wednesday. TK
