Regional weather: Thursday, January 27 - TX/OK: Low pressure is moving across the region following the Red River Valley with moisture overriding arctic air from the north. Cloudy today throughout the region. Significant snowfall is expected in the Oklahoma region through Thursday, Thursday night and into Friday. Sleet and freezing rain are forecast for the northern Texas area, along the Red River Valley and into eastern Texas and northern Louisiana. Highs today in the low 50's throughout the Edward's Plateau region with lows in the upper 30's. Temperatures cooling on Friday, highs in the 40's and 50's. Lows mostly in the mid to lower 30's. Precipitation is expected across the Plateau on Thursday, with cloudy weather on Friday.

OUTLOOK: *** Mild Threat *** Conditions are unfavorable for pollen release today and tomorrow. Temperatures are high as are humidities with rain showers expected across the Plateau for Thursday and cooler cloudy weather is expected on Friday.

Trajectories: The forecast trajectories are received from meteorologists at North Carolina State University in Raleigh-Durham. Recent weather conditions in the North Carolina area has precluded the generation of the trajectories. We are sorry for any inconvenience.
