Regional weather: Wednesday, February 9 - TX/OK: Variably cloudy in the south and west; some morning low clouds and/or fog in some eastern areas. Clear to partly cloudy otherwise. A low pressure area is developing in the central Plains today while a cold front is pushing down from Canada farther north. The new Low will move east tonight and Thursday. Initial surge of the cold front will stop short of the region; then, as the Low moves east, a second surge will move the front into the northern sections on Thursday. Meanwhile, very warm and windy conditions will govern the OK/TX region. Nearly all areas will be dry. Highs today and Thursday in the 60's to 80's. Lows tonight ranging from the 30's to 60's.

Trajectory weather: Austin: Becoming partly cloudy this afternoon, high in the 70's. Variably cloudy tonight with a chance of a shower late, low in the 40's. Rain likely on Thursday, temperatures holding in the 40's. Junction / San Angelo: Partly cloudy today, high near 80. Increasing cloudiness tonight, low in the 40's. Variably cloudy on Thursday with a slight chance of showers, high in the 60's.

OUTLOOK: *** Low to Mild Threat *** We are nearing the end of the pollen season, so there is little pollen available for release. Temperatures are favorable Plateau-wide. Humidities have dropped into the favorable range during the late morning in the west, but are holding high above the favorable range for the eastern sections of the Plateau. Winds are strong and gusty. Some light release is likely from the western sections of the Plateau. Residents of central TX.... western sections of north TX... and central and northeast OK may feel some ill effects from today's release. TK
