Regional weather: Thursday, January 4 - TX/OK/AR: Sunny and dry weather today and Friday. A weak cold front will form east of the Rockies and move through the region tonight and Friday. Only clouds with this front, the winds will shift direction, and slightly cooler temperatures will follow. Highs in the 40's to 60's today, lows mostly in the 20's and 30's tonight.

OUTLOOK: *** Moderate Threat *** Mostly favorable conditions for pollen release today. Temperatures climbed into the favorable range during the late morning while humidities were dropping off. However, winds are light over most of the Plateau. Moderate Risk of exposure for residents of a broad area of south-central Texas, including the Austin and San Antonio metropolitan areas. Weak winds may bring some airborne pollen into southeast TX by tomorrow (Friday) evening, but risk of exposure should be Low. TK
