Date Issued: 10 January 2001

Mountain Cedar location(s): Arbuckle Mountains, OK

Regional weather: Wednesday, January 10 - TX/OK/AR: High pressure has moved off to the east. A low pressure disturbance fueled by strong upper-level energy is pounding TX this morning. Cloudy all but northwest AR today. Rain/showers will be moving north and east through the day. Precipitation will end in parts of west TX this evening but continue in other areas tonight. Highs ranging from the 40's to 60's, lows in the 30's and 40's with some 50's south. Clearing and warmer for much of the region on Thursday, though parts of eastern OK, eastern TX, and AR will remain unsettled.

Trajectory weather: Becoming mostly cloudy with a good chance of rain during the afternoon, high in the 40's. Cloudy with a chance of rain tonight, low in the mid-30's. Cloudy Thursday, high in the mid-40's.

Trajectory confidence: High

OUTLOOK: *** Low Threat *** Recent observations indicate that pollen release has yet to reach its peak in this region. Unfavorable conditions for pollen release today. Temperatures will be borderline at best. The main reason, however, is the high humidities and the rain overspreading the source region this morning.... far too much moisture for any pollen release. No release expected, with Low Risk of exposure. TK

Trajectory Start(s) (shown by black star on map): Sulfur, Oklahoma
