Regional Weather: Monday and Tuesday, Jan 10 and 11. TX/OK: Warm temperatures will continue across the region for the next few days although northen Oklahoma will be cooler than the rest of the region especially on Tuesday as a new cold front begins moving into the state. Moist air from the south will increase chances for rain by mid-week. Day time highs in Oklahoma will be in the 60s on Monday and range from the 40s to the 60s on Tuesday. Day time highs both days will be in the 70s in Texas. Skies will be partly to mostly clousy with patchy fog and winds from the south.

 

Trajectory weather: The air mass trajectories move from the Arbuckle Mountains to the northeast over moderate to strong southerly winds both Monday and Tuesday. Partly to mostly cloudy skies will prevail across the region with mild to warm temperatures. Patchy dense fog and mist on Monday should clear by mid-day. Lows tonight in the low 50s and highs on Tuesday in the low 60s.


OUTLOOK: *** Moderate to High Threat *** Mixed conditions for pollen release due to scattered areas mist and fog. Since the trees are near their peak release period significant amounts of pollen release might be expected in drier areas and after the fog lifts. As a result High Threat continues in areas that remain dry with Moderate Threat in areas with mist.
