Regional Weather: Monday and Tuesday, Jan 24 and 25.
TX/OK: Monday will be much warmer with light southerly winds and partly to mostly cloudy skies. Highs on
Monday will be in the upper 50s in Oklahoma and the low to mid 60s in Texas. Nighttime lows will be in the 30s
and 40s. Warm weather will continue on Tuesday with highs in the 60s ub Oklahoma and the 70s in Texas. Winds will
be light and variable shifting to the west, northwest in late Tuesday afternoon.
Trajectory weather: The air mass trajectories for Monday move from the Arbuckle Mountains to the northeast and then east over northeast Oklahoma and then Missouri and Arkansas. Sunny skies will prevail across the region with warm temperatures and light to moderate southerly winds. Tuesday's trajectories initially move to the northeast but then swing back around to the south and southwest across southwest Arkansas and east Texas. Temperatures will continue warm on Tuesday.
OUTLOOK: *** Moderate to High Threat *** Favorable
conditions for pollen release. Partly cloudy skies with dry conditions will occur today with temperatures
in the mid to upper 50s. Temperatures will continue warm tomorrow with favorable conditions for pollen release
continuing. However trajectories on Tuesday will swing east and then toward the south over Arkansas; however, we
may be in the path of pollen from Texas.
