Regional Weather: Monday and Tuesday, Jan 24 and 25. TX/OK: TX/OK: Monday will be much warmer with light southerly winds and partly to mostly cloudy skies. Highs on Monday will be in the upper 50s in Oklahoma and the low to mid 60s in Texas. Nighttime lows will be in the 30s and 40s. Warm weather will continue on Tuesday with highs in the 60s ub Oklahoma and the 70s in Texas. Winds will be light and variable shifting to the west, northwest in late Tuesday afternoon.


Trajectory weather: The air mass trajectories from eastern Texas On Monday move to the northeast across eastern Oklahoma and Arkansas. Those from the western side of the Edwards Plateau move to the northeast but then turn back to the south tomorrow evening. Conditions across the Plateau will be mild with temperatures in the upper 50s to low 60s. Skies are cloudy with winds from the south, southwest. Trajectories for Tuesday show movement to the east then turning south with trajectory characteristics that are not ideal for entrainment and travel of pollen. Conditions will continue mild with temperatures in the 70s across the Plateau.


OUTLOOK: *** Moderate to High Threat *** Good conditons for pollen release across the Plateau. Although the peak release period may have passed, significant amounts of pollen may still remain.
