Regional Weather: Fri, Sat, and Sun, Jan 28, 29, and 30. TX/OK: Unstable weather will occur accros the region for the next few days. On Friday in Oklahoma, temperatures will be in the 30s and 40s with east, southeast winds. Rain is likely in the southern part of the state and rain mixed with snow in the northern part. In Texas, temperatures will range from the upper 40s in the north to low 60s in the south. Light rain is likely in the north and cloudy skies elesewhere. Nighttime lows will be in the 30s and 40s across the region. Saturday and Sunday will bring cloudy skies throughout the region wotj ;ight variable winds. Daytime highs will be in the 40s in Oklahoma and the 50s and 60s in Texas. Rain is likely throughout the region on Sunday.

 

Trajectory weather: The air mass trajectories on Friday from the Edwards Plateau move to the north and then circle back around to the south. Conditions at the sources will be mild today with cloudy skies. Trajectories on Saturday and Sunday mainly show air mass movement to the north, north west although some trajectories swing around to the east. Temperatures along the Plateau will continue mild this weekend with daytime highs in the 50s and low 60s. Rain chances increase on Sunday.


OUTLOOK: *** Moderate Threat Friday and Saturday/Low to Moderate Threat on Sunday *** Mixed conditions for pollen release Friday through Sunday. Cloudy skies with rain chances increasing over the weekend make for mixed condition even though temperatures are in the favorable range. Also the trees are past their peak release period so less pollen is available for dispersal.
