Regional Weather: Thurs and Fri, Jan 18 and 19. TX/OK:
Cool weather continues across the region although temperatures will be at or above freezing for Thurs and Fri.
Daytime highs both days will range from the mid 30s to the mid 40s. Overnight lows will range from the low 20s
to the upper 30s. Winds will be light and variable across the region today and shifting to the north on Friday
through much of the region. Skies will be cloudy with increasing chance of precipitation tomorrow in Texas as the
next storm system approaches the region.
Trajectory weather: The air mass trajectories move from the Arbuckle Mountains to the south and curve around
to the west in Texas. The trajectories are associated with a cold sinking air and show poor characteristics for
entrainment and travel. Conditions at the source are unfavorable for pollen release. Trajectories on Friday begin
moving to the south then turn to northwest. Conditions at the source will continue to be unfavorable for pollen
release.
