Regional Weather: Saturday, Jan 20. TX/OK: Winter
weather continues in the region with rain, sleet, and snow in the forecast for Oklahoma and rain in Texas. The
temperatures today will be in the 30s in Oklahoma and upper 30s to low 40s in Texas. Winds are light and variable
across the region. There is a good chance of measurable snow fall in northern Oklahoma late this afternoon and
tonight. Overnight lows will range from the upper 20s in Oklahoma to the upper 30s in Texas.
Trajectory weather: The air mass trajectories from the eastern side of the Edwards Plateau Texas move to
the north and then loop back around to the south. Trajectories from the western side of the Plateau move to the
north, northeast. The trajectories show mixed characteristics for entrainment and travel. Conditions at the source
areas will be cold today with temperatures in the low 40s and with rain likely throughout the Plateau..
OUTLOOK: *** Low Threat *** Conditions are mostly unfavorable for pollen
release with low temperatures and the likelihood of rain
