Regional Weather: Tues and Wed, Jan 23 and 24. TX/OK: Clear to partly cloudy skies with seasonable day time temperatures and cool nights will be in place today and Wednesday in Oklahoma. Day time highs will be the upper 40s and night time lows from the upper 20s. Winds today will be light to moderate and from southwest or west; tomorrow winds will be from the north. Central Texas will have day time highs in the mid 40s to low 50s and night time lows in the 30s with northerly winds. There is a chance or rain throughout the Plateau and central Texas today and Wednesday.

Trajectory weather: The air mass trajectories from the Edwards Plateau Texas move to the south and are associated with cold sinking air, showing poor characteristics for entrainment and travel. Conditions at the source areas on the Plateau are cold this morning which will limit pollen release to the afternoon hours. In addition, chances of rain across the Plateau will further decrease pollen release Wednesday's trajectories move to the south (eastern side of the Plateau) or southwest (western side of the Plateau) and show poor to moderate characteristics for entrainment and travel. Conditions at the source areas will be cold again on Wednesday morning limiting pollen release to the afternoon hours. Also rain chances continue through the area. As always, pollen release is possible in areas that remain dry today and tomorrow.

OUTLOOK: *** Moderate threat *** Cold morning temperatures and chance of rain will limit pollen release. Areas that remain dry may see significant pollen release in the afternoon hours.
