Regional Weather: Thurs and Fri, Jan 25 and 26. TX/OK: Clear to partly cloudy skies with mild temperatures will be in place today and Friday in Oklahoma and Texas. Day time highs will range from the upper 40s to low 50s in Oklahoma and upper 50s to mid 60s in Texas. Night time lows will range from the upper 20s to upper 30s. Winds today will be light and variable. High temperatures on Friday will range from the mid 50s to low 60s with moderate southerly or southeast winds. There is a small chance of rain or thunderstorms on Friday in central Texas.

Trajectory weather: The air mass trajectories from the Edwards Plateau Texas begin moving to the southwest or west and then curve around to the northeast. The trajectories show only moderate characteristics for entrainment and travel. Conditions at the source areas on the Plateau are cool this morning but will quickly warm to the favorable range. Friday's trajectories move to the north and then curve around to the east or southeast. Trajectory characteristics continue to show only moderate characteristics for entrainment and travel. Conditions at the source areas will be cool Friday morning but will quickly rise to favorable.


OUTLOOK: *** Moderate to High threat *** Cool morning temperatures will limit pollen release to the afternoon hours but conditions will be favorable in the afternoon. Trajectories are not ideal for downwind travels so much of the pollen may remain close to sources areas.
