Regional Weather: Saturday, Jan 27. TX/OK: A cold
front moves into Oklahoma today bringing a sharp drop in temperatures after yesterday's mild conditions. Highs
today in Oklahoma will be in the 40s with cloudy skies, strong northerly winds, and a small chance of precipitation.
Conditions in Texas will remain mild with highs in the 60s. Skies will be clear to partly cloudy and winds will
be shifting to northerly and increasing. Lows overnight will be in the 20s in Oklahoma and the 30s in Texas.
Trajectory weather: The air mass trajectories move from the Arbuckle Mountains to the south over central
Texas. The trajectories are associated with a cold sinking air and show poor characteristics for entrainment and
travel. Conditions at the source are cool this morning and dropping during the day.
OUTLOOK: *** Low threat *** Conditions mostly unfavorable for pollen
release.
