Regional Weather: Tues and Wed, Jan 30 and 31. TX/OK: Another cold front moves into the region on Tuesday. Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 30s in Oklahoma and from the mid 40s to the mid 50s in Texas with moderate to strong northerly winds. Skies will be clear to partly cloudy in Oklahoma and partly to mostly cloudy in Texas. Overnight lows will range from the upper teens to mid 20s in Oklahoma and the 30s in Texas. Temperatures on Wednesday will range from the low 30s to the upper 40s and winds will be from the south or southeast. There is an increasing chance of precipitation on Wednesday with the possibility of rain in Texas and snow in Oklahoma.

Trajectory weather: The air mass trajectories from the Edwards Plateau Texas move to the southwest and then circle around in west Texas and then move to the northeast across Oklahoma. The trajectories show mixed characteristics for entrainment and travel. Conditions at the source areas on the Plateau are cool but in the favorable range for pollen release. Wednesday's trajectories move to the north and then turn northeast. Trajectory characteristics continue to show mixed characteristics for entrainment and travel. Conditions at the source areas will be cold on Wednesday morning and may only reach the favorable range in the afternoon. Possibility of rain across the Plateau may further limit pollen release


OUTLOOK: *** Moderate to High threat today, Moderate tomorrow *** Conditions are favorable for pollen release today but cold morning temperatures and chance of rain on Wednesday will limit pollen release.
