Regional Weather: Saturday, Feb 3. TX/OK: Cold
conditions and partly cloudy skies across the region today with temperatures in the 30s in Oklahoma. In Texas,
temperatures will range from the upper 40s to the upper 50s. Winds will be variable in Oklahoma and from the south
or southwest in Texas. Overnight lows will be in the upper teens and 20s in Oklahoma and the 30s in Texas.
Trajectory weather: The air mass trajectories at lowest elevations circle around southern Oklahoma and north
Texas. Those at higher elevation move from the Arbuckle Mountains to the northeast and then turn east across northern
Arkansas and southern Missouri. The trajectories show mixed characteristics for entrainment and travel. Conditions
at the source are cold this morning and are not likely to reach the favorable range this afternoon.
OUTLOOK: *** Low threat *** Conditions are unfavorable for pollen release
today.
