Regional Weather: Saturday, Feb 3. TX/OK: Cold
conditions and partly cloudy skies across the region today with temperatures in the 30s in Oklahoma. In Texas,
temperatures will range from the upper 40s to the upper 50s. Winds will be variable in Oklahoma and from the south
or southwest in Texas. Overnight lows will be in the upper teens and 20s in Oklahoma and the 30s in Texas.
Trajectory weather: The air mass trajectories from the Edwards Plateau Texas begin moving to the northeast
and then curve to the east and back to the south. The trajectories show poor to moderate characteristics for entrainment
and travel. Conditions at the source areas on the Plateau are cold this morning but will reach the favorable range
by noon limiting pollen release to the afternoon hours.
OUTLOOK: *** Low to Moderate threat *** Cold
morning temperatures will limit pollen release to the afternoon hours. Also we are nearing the end of the mountain
cedar season further limiting the amount of pollen available for dispersal
