Regional Weather: Sun and Mon, Feb 4 and 5. TX/OK:
Clear to partly cloudy skies with warmer daytime temperatures and cool nights will be in place today and Monday
in the region. Daytime highs today will be the 40s in Oklahoma and the 60s in Texas with light variable winds.
Night time lows will range from the upper teens and 20s in Oklahoma to the mid to upper 30s in Texas. High temperatures
on Monday will be in the mid to upper 40s in Oklahoma and north Texas and the mid 60s in central and southern Texas.
Winds will be light and mainly from the south.
Trajectory weather: The air mass trajectories from the Edwards Plateau Texas move to the north and then
curve to the east. The trajectories show moderate to good characteristics for entrainment and travel. Conditions
at the source areas on the Plateau are cold this morning which will limit pollen release to the afternoon hours.
Monday's trajectories move to the northeast. Trajectory characteristics show only moderate characteristics for
entrainment and travel. Conditions at the source areas will be cold again on Monday morning limiting pollen release
to the afternoon hours.
OUTLOOK: *** Moderate to High threat *** Cold
morning temperatures will limit pollen release to the afternoon hours. Winds are light limiting downwind dispersal.
