Regional Weather: Monday, January 18 - TX/OK:
Conditions across the region are mild with high temperatures in Oklahoma in the upper 50s to mid 60s. Skies will
be clear to partly cloudy with light to moderate southerly winds. Morning fog in parts of eastern Oklahoma should
lift by noon. Lows tonight will be in the 40s with further warm up tomorrow into the mid to upper 60s. In Texas
today the afternoons highs will be in the 60s with clear to partly cloudy skies with light to moderate south, southwest
winds. Morning fog and drizzle will be apparent in south central parts of the area; however, skies are expected
to clear in the afternoon. Lows tonight will range from the low 40s to the mid 50s across the area. Highs tomorrow
are expected to be in the low to mid 70s with partly cloudy skies.
Trajectory weather: The trajectories from the Arbuckle Mounts move to the north this afternoon and evening
over central Oklahoma and into Kansas on light to moderate winds. At the source area, early morning fog should
clear by mid-morning. Temperatures will be warm with afternoon highs in the low 60s with clear to partly cloudy
skies and light southerly winds. Temperature will be moderate overnight tonight and warm up into the upper 60s
tomorrow.
OUTLOOK: *** High Threat *** Mostly favorable conditions for pollen release today and
good conditions for entrainment and transport. Warm temperatures but high humidity this morning. Skies should
clear this afternoon resulting in better conditions for pollen release leading to high threat this afternoon and
evening.
