Regional weather: Saturday/Sunday, January 16/17 - TX/OK: Warm and dry through the period. Some high cloudiness on hand west and north; late-night/early-morning low clouds or fog eastern sections. Highs mostly in the 60's and 70's both days, lows tonight in the 30's north and west, 40's and 50's south and east.

Trajectory weather: Austin: Morning clouds/fog, becoming mostly sunny, high in the low 70's. Fair early tonight, then increasing clouds or fog late, low near 50. Cloudy on Sunday with a chance of showers, high in the upper 60's. Junction/San Angelo: Sunny today, high around 70. Partly cloudy tonight and Sunday, low near 50, high in the low 70's.

Trajectory confidence: High

OUTLOOK: *** SERIOUS Threat *** Conditions are favorable for pollen release today, especially the western sections of the Plateau. Most airborne pollen will be moving slowly eastward across central Texas through Sunday evening. Pollen released from eastern sections of the Plateau will flow north and then east.....afftecting residents of east-central Texas today (Waco), northeast Texas tonight (Dallas/Ft.Worth, Sulfur Springs), and southern Arkansas on Sunday. Washout of airborne pollen should occur sometime Sunday. For Sunday's release.....similar conditions will prevail with more significant release expected. Winds will take the airborne pollen to the south and east through Monday morning. Affected areas include the Texas hill country....south-central Texas....the Texas coastal bend....and the Rio Grande Plains. TK
