Regional weather: Friday/Saturday, January 22/23 - TX/OK: Complex low pressure system centered in eastern OK brings unsettled weather to the region today and will move east overnight. Cold and rain/snow OK and parts of west TX today. Showers/thunderstorms possible north and east TX. Chance of light rain south-central TX. Highs today 30's and 40's OK, 50's and 60's TX. Rain ending tonight, clearing western areas, lows mostly in the 20's and 30's. Clear to partly cloudy region-wide on Saturday, highs mostly in the 50's and 60's.
Trajectory weather: Mostly cloudy with a chance of light rain this morning....or showers farther east. High in the low 60's. Variably cloudy tonight, low in the upper 40's. Becoming sunny on Saturday with highs in the 70's. Partly cloudy Austin trajectory, high near 70.

OUTLOOK: *** Low to Moderate Threat *** Now that we are nearing the end of the season, decreasing amounts of airborne pollen are expected. Mixed conditions for pollen release today.....better towards the eastern end of the Plateau as opposed to the more usual western sections. Some light rain is falling in the western sections and its much cooler so little release is expected from that area. Moderate release expected from the eastern side. Airborne pollen will be moving through southeast Texas and the upper Texas coast this afternoon and evening.....and along the Louisiana coastal area tonight. On Saturday.....a Mild to Moderate release event is anticipated. Airborne pollen will move initially south, then turn to the north, affecting central and northern Texas Saturday night into Sunday. TK
