Fall Pollen Types
Eastern Oklahoma
Starting in August, we begin seeing several new pollen types in the atmosphere. The most significant new pollen is from species of Ambrosia, commonly known as ragweed. This pollen is in the atmosphere from mid-August through later October. Other weed pollen, grass pollen, and a few types of tree pollen also occur in the atmosphere through the fall.
